Course: Mindful Emotions

What is the reason we have emotions and why is it good to notice them? What can staying with emotions even the unpleasant ones bring? And how can you actually be attentive to yourself and your surroundings?

Be part of the story of noticing how emotions arise and how to experience them attentively. As part of a group of people, we will offer you a space to stop and look into yourself. With the help of mindfulness techniques such as, mindful breathing, body scan or mindful walking, you will have the opportunity to bring a calmer pace into everyday life and thus deeper self-knowledge.

  • Rage
  • Joy
  • Kindness
  • Tension, stress, anxiety

Last meeting will be dedicated to closing and reflection  in order to hence the experience fully.

This course is led by psychologists, soft-skill trainers and mindfulness teachers Markéta and Anna. Through their own practice and experience they created this program in order to bring the best out of scientific theories about emotions and practical implications through mindfulness.

Lecturers: Markéta Pešoutová, Anna-Marie Pospíšilová

Markéta is a psychologist with years of experience with meditation and mindfulness. Her interest in this field is not manifested only through practice but also research. Currently shen works as a therapist and study PhD. She has broad experience in delivering softskill trainings. In delivery she focuses on engagement of the participants, impact and safe atmosphere.

Anna-Marie is a psychologist focusing on spreading knowledge about mental well-being for many years. Her passion for mindfulness goes back to 2018, when she meditated with a buddhist monk in Sri Lanka. Nowadays she likes to mindfully deliver workshops on various psychological topics. Her motto in delivery is: In variety we find the strength.
